January’s Scottish Gin Club discovery gin is produced at the heart of the Cairngorm National Park by the Cairngorm Gin Company. Scottish Highland Gin is an award-winning premium dry gin.

The Gin 

Produced with a diverse range of local botanicals – including juniper, cloudberries, elderflower and Caledonian pine – this is Cairngorm Gin Company’s signature spirit and is produced in small batches of no more than 70 bottles.

Founded by Jack Smith, Cairngorm Gin Company is the result of a keen interest in the hospitality industry, and of course, a taste for gin! Working with Master Distiller Lewis Scothern this signature spirit is just the beginning of a much longer journey, with more releases on the horizon.

From the branding to the botanicals that make Scottish Highland Gin unique, the influence of one of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes is as clear as the spirit itself. Distilled in Carrbridge in a traditional copper pot still, this is a smooth and refined spirit – to be expected of a spirit blended with freshwater from the River Spey!

Serve over ice, with a premium tonic, a slice of fresh orange to garnish.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, Scottish Highland Gin is complex and fruity. To taste, it’s smooth and moreish. To finish, expect gentle and earthy notes.
