Rock Rose Citrus Coastal Edition Gin is a Scottish gin that uses botanicals to showcase the northern coastline of mainland Scotland.

The most experimental release to date, the Coastal Edition is distilled using locally foraged kelp from shore seaweed and liquorice salt from Hebridean Mustard Company for an incredibly smooth and delectably sweet gin with a delicious salted edge.

Originally made as a limited edition in August 2020, it was so well received that the distillery decided to make it part of the core range. It was released in April 2021.

Tasing Notes

Nose: Warm juniper notes giving way to bright lemon and verbena notes.

Palate: Fresh citrus balanced with oceanic umami flavour of kelp.

Finish: A hint of salinity coming through from the liquorice salt with more citrus on the finish.

Perfect serve: We think the Coastal Edition Gin is best served over lots of ice with a classic tonic and garnished with a slice of grapefruit and some goji berries.
