Our Scottish Gin Club feature for February is Glasgow Gin. Glasgow Gin is a truly bold spirit – you have to be to even attempt to bottle the character of Scotland’s largest city.

The Gin 

Inspired by a love for Glasgow, this is a fun and playful spirit. The distinctive flavour profile opens with a gentle sweetness, delivers gentle floral notes throughout and closes with a hint of sherbet sweet.

Glasgow Gin is distilled to a secret recipe by Gleann Mòr Spirits – the team behind Firkin Gin and Rare Find Whisky – in Partick, Glasgow. 

This is a versatile spirit, with a broad selection of potential pairings. While our perfect serve opts for tonic, Glasgow Gin is the perfect gin to be a little adventurous. As a starter, sample a serve with Irn Bru (in a 1:3 mix) and a dash of Angostura bitters.

The Perfect Serve

Serve over ice, with a premium tonic and a squeezed slice of fresh lime to garnish.

Tasting Notes

On the nose you’ll sense sweet floral notes. To taste Glasgow Gin is light and fragrant. To finish, expect a hint of sherbet sweetness.
