Ron Izalco | 10 Year Old Rum

 Ron Izalco 10 Year Old rum marries Central American rums produced from volcanic sugar cane molasses. The spirit is aged in charred American oak casks for a whole decade, resulting in a complex and thoroughly delightful rum.

The result is a complex and rich flavoured rum.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Fruity aromas of apricots, prunes, honey, caramel and brown sugar.

Palate: The palate is mellow and sweet, with hints of tropical fruits and honey, it then slowly unfolds into richer and deeper undertones with flavours of tobaco from it’s time in American oak casks.

Finish: The finish is long, enhanced by patiently-oxidized tannins that combine perfectly with the rich flavors of the rum.

Perfect serve: Serve neat with a wedge of lime or pair with your favourite mixer.
