About Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers

Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is owned and operated by one of Scotland’s oldest and most prominent whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison. There have been over 5 generations of the Morrison family involved in the whisky business and this venutre marks the family's return to the industry some 25 years after Brian Morrison sold Morrison Bowmore Distillers.

Jamie and Brian have gained a huge amount of knowledge about whisky making through their family's experience and they are commited to imparting that knowledge while embracing innovation for every release.

Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited Collection

The Carn Mor Strictly Limited collection is a range of rare and unique independent bottlings. Carn Mor releases whisky as it should be by bottling outstanding whisky in the way that many of the distilleries cannot due to restrictions. The small, limited bottlings express the unique differences of each batch rather than trying to aim for consistency. The whisky will be as close to drinking from the cask as possible.

Every release in the collection is bottled at 47.5% ABV. The September 2021 release features 5 single malt whiskies all finished in different cask types.

Blair Atholl 2008
Matured in Oloroso Sherry Hogshead, this 13 year old Highland delight combines nutty shortbread and malty sweetness with a smooth dry finish.

Auchentoshan 2011
This 9 year old triple distilled lowland single malt has been finished in a Rum Cask and is an absolute tropical sensation exploding with creamy vanilla, rum soaked pineapples and citrus peel.

Linkwood 2011
Bursting with vanilla and fresh orchard fruits with a hint of citrus this 9 year old Speysider has been fully matured in Bourbon Barrels since 2011.

Miltonduff 2011
Fully matured for 10 years in Bourbon Barrels, this Speysider has taken everything the cask has to offer. It’s rich and smooth with Honeycomb, ginger snaps and baked apple.

Craigellachie 2010
A luxurious PX Sherry Butt finish on this 11 year old gives this the velvety finish you would expect with dried fruits, dark caramel and mocha followed by meaty malty notes.
