Tyree Gin is a refreshing Scottish gin which has been created to capture the essence of Tiree - the most westerly island of the Inner Hebrides.

Made using a combination of traditional and locally sourced botanicals, Tyree is distilled and hand bottled in the distillery in West Hynish in the southwest of Tiree.

Botanicals: juniper, kelp, eyebright, ladies bedstraw, water mint and angelica.

Tasting Notes

Tyree Gin combines maritime notes with earthy juniper and herbaceous flavours including vanilla and freshly cut grass before a long, warm finish.

The perfect serve

We recommend serving Tyree over ice as a classic G&T using a premium tonic. Garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit.

Meet the maker

Tyree Gin (Tiree Whisky Company Ltd.) was established by Ian Smith & Alain Campbell. Tiree was once home to no less than fifty distillers but the island's connection with the Scotch Whisky industry has long since been lost. Ian and Alain's goal is to reestablish Tiree's connection to the whisky industry. Following the success of releasing a limited editon 19 year old Highland Single Malt, Tyree Gin was launched at the Tiree Music Festival in 2017 but was initially produced at Thames Distillers in London using local botanicals. This helped to fund the renovation of an industiral shed in West Hynish in the southwest of the island and in February 2019, after a break of 217 years, Tiree was once again home to an operational distillery.
