Bottled at 46%, the lighted peated, double distilled Campbeltown whisky has been matured in a combination of 70% bourbon casks and 30% sherry casks.

Tasting Notes

On the nose oak is dominant and is followed by toasted marshmallows, dried fruit pudding, cherries, almonds and a hint of peat. To taste, there are hits of citrus notes with orange peel followed by vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits. The finish is smooth and velvety with a saltiness you'd expect from a Campbeltown dram.

Best served at room temperature, enjoy however you serve your malt, neat, on the rocks or with a dash of water.

Meet the maker

Glengyle Distillery was founded in 1872 by farmer William Mitchell and is in close proximity to the centre of Campbeltown. The distillery was operated under a couple of different owners until closing in 1925. It wasn't until 2004 when Hedley Wright (previous owner of Springbank) acquired the building did whsiky production resume, this time under the name Mitchell's Glengyle. The first single malt was released in 2012 with all bottlings from Mitchell's Glengyle being under the Kilkerran name which comes from the Scottish Gaelic for Saint Kerran's religious settlement, now Campbeltown.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
