Teasmith Spirits Co
Founded in Udny, Aberdeenshire in 2016 by husband and wife Nick and Emma Smalley, Teasmith Spirits Co. were inspired to create spirits that captured the essence of the land and stories that surrounded them. Their first product - The Teasmith Gin - was the first Scottish gin to be distilled with tea as one of the primary botanicals. Ceylon tea was chosen as the botanical as one of Aberdeenshire's largely unknown historical links is that the man who planted the very first tea plantation came from Auchenblae in the north east of Scotland.
