Bivrost® Yggdrasil Arctic Single Malt Whisky - Crafted with the finest Nordic malted barley and pure glacial meltwater. Using a complex fermentation process, this whisky is then aged to perfection in Oloroso-seasoned and in-house charred casks, all within Bivrost’s unique wooden Viking longhouse, where the cold Arctic temperatures shape its distinct character.

Tasting Notes

This whisky greets the nose with a rich blend of dried fruits, orange blossom, bonfire smoke, roasted nuts, and the essence of an old Spanish bodega, all complemented by a subtle hint of peat. On the palate, it offers remarkable complexity and a velvety mouthfeel, with flavours of toasted oak, caramelized mandarins, and delicate peat undertones. The finish is exceptionally long, oily, and deeply satisfying.

Meet the maker

Aurora Spirit has established a unique distillery that attracts international attention with its spectacular location. The distillery is situated far beyond the Arctic Circle in Norway. The Lyngen Alps, the fjord, the northern lights and the Arctic wilderness provide an excellent setting for making whisky and other alcohol products under the brand name Bivrost. The products are based on local herbs, berries and melted glacier water. Aurora Spirit Distillery has an award winning visitor centre which offers guided tours for visitors.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
