Shoogle Spirits is a family run business currently operating from Stonehouse, a small village in South Lanarkshire close to Glasgow. The inspiration came in 2018 when the patriarch of the family sadly passed away, leading to reflections on the value of family and creating a legacy. When the pandemic hit in 2020 studies, jobs and careers were impacted within the family. At this point, the decision was made to build something that the whole family could get involved in. There are currently three generations involved in the business and although they have very different backgrounds, they are united by the same passion. The gin is currently distilled at a distillery in neighbouring Strathaven but Shoogle will be relocating to their own distillery in summer 2021.
