Produced on the Isle of Skye, Misty Isle Salty and Sweet Gin is a small-batch gin inspired by Portree, the largest town on the dramatic and breathtaking Scottish island.

The London Dry style gin showcases a perfect balance of botanicals from in and around Portree including juniper, home grown coriander seeds, angelica root, blueberries, meadowsweet stalks and sea orache from the shores of Loch Portree.

The gin takes its name from the Gaelic name Kiltaraglen which is what Portree was called before the 16th century.

Tasting Notes

Juniper-led, the gin has hints of blueberry balanced with angelica and coriander before a sharp, coastal saltiness in the aftertaste.

The perfect serve

We recommend serving Cill Targhlain over ice with a quality Scottish tonic such as Walter Gragor's and finished with a twist of lemon peel.

Meet the maker

Brothers Alistair and Thomas Wilson are proud to call Skye home and the beautiful island was the inspiration for their gin. The first gin from Isle of Skye Distillers was launched in February 2017 and they are the only distillers producing gin on Skye.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
