Established in 2013, Pickering's Gin was the brainchild of friends and business partners Matt & Marcus and became the first exclusive gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh for over 150 years. The pair were working at Summerhall when they noticed derelict dog kennels that once stood in the middle of the Old Royal Dick Veterinary School. With a passion for property renovation, good gin and an inherited gin recipe the next steps seemed obvious! The gin is based on the recipe from 1947 and the range includes full strength gins as well as fruit flavoured liqueurs.
