Bad na h-Achlaise - Highland Single Malt Whisky is a lightly peated malt resulting from the vatting of two carefully selected highland casks. This marriage of peated and unpeated spirit produces a finely balanced expression of the rugged and yet romantic north west Highlands.

Bad na h-Achlaise - Highland Single Malt Whisky is finished in Tuscan red wine casks prior to bottling, the non-chill filtered whisky has developed a wonderfully deep character and slight blush in colour. Each bottle is individually numbered.

Tasting Notes

On the nose there's notes of smoke infused with lemongrass and fresh hay before ripe peach and candied apricot takeover. On the palate you'll get red berries sprinkled with peat on the back of the tongue. The finish has warmed oats and cream with fresh fruits and hints of oak.

The perfect serve

Enjoy as you would normally enjoy a dram. Neat, on the rocks or with a dash a water.

Meet the maker

Run by Gordon and Vanessa Quinn, Badachro Distillery - a small home distillery - opened in June 2017. Situated in the north west Highlands of Scotland, their spirits are made using local, hand picked ingredients to reflect the pure air, water and land that surrounds the small village of Badachro.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
