Established in 2017, Ninefold Distillery is based on the Dormont Estate near Dalton, making it the first and only rum distillery in the South of Scotland. Housed in a converted stone farm building, it is owned by the Carruthers family and is run by the youngest son Kit, marking the latest chapter in the 450 year history of Dormont Estate. The rum is made from scratch in a Scottish made copper pot still. The flagship product is an unaged pure single (white) rum and they will be releasing limited release aged rums.
