Launched in late 2019 by Masterchef: The Professionals finalist Dean Banks, Lunun Gin celebrates Dean's culinary experience which has been honed from his travels across the globe. Since graduating from university in Dundee, Dean has spent time working in high end and Michelin starred restaurants as well as working for private clients around the world. In 2018, he reached the final of Masterchef: The Professionals and has since opened his own restaurant in St Andrews. Dean's heart has always been in Scotland and, in particular, his hometown of Arbroath in Angus. It was the combination of Dean's love for flavour, place and food and drink that led Dean to launch Lunun Gin. The name of the gin is an adaptation of Angus’ most peaceful, secluded beach, ‘Lunan Bay’.
