ABV: 46%  |  Location: Castlebay, Isle of Barra

Barra Atlantic Gin is a stunning Scottish coastal gin from Scotland's most westerly distillery which sits right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.

It's distilled with 17 carefully selected botanicals including Carragreen Seaweed that is hand foraged from the shores surrounding the island. Carragreen is a red algae native to the cool Atlantic waters around Europe's rocky coastlines.

The adventurous spirit of Barra is the inspiration for this refreshing London Dry gin and each bottle has been distilled, bottled & labelled on the island.

Tasting Notes

Barra Atlantic Gin carefully balances juniper with the seaweed for a bold maritime flavour with floral and herbal notes. It's dry and rich with a sweet viscosity and a slight saltiness before a long, warm finish with a hint of spice.

The perfect serve

For a classic G&T, we recommend adding some ice to your favourite gin glass and squeezing a few drops of pink grapefruit juice over the ice. Pour a 50ml measure of gin and top up with tonic (our favourite is Walter Gregor's Original Tonic). Finish with a wedge of pink grapefruit. The gin is also perfect for making Martinis.
