Founded by Ulrich Ixkes, a graduate of the MSc in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Lanark Distillery produce a range of small batch handcrafted gins in a traditional alembic copper pot still. After graduating, Ulrich worked as a Head-Brewer and Distiller for several years before deciding to set up his own distillery, celebrating his hometown of Lanark and the beautiful waterfalls surrounding it. The gins are named after Corra Linn, the highest of four waterfalls within the Falls of Clyde Reserve near Lanark. The range includes a classic gin and two flavoured full-strength gins; Scottish Raspberry and Grapefruit.
