Launched in late 2018, Isle of Bute Gin create small batch gins that have been inspired by the tiny island on the west coast of Scotland. The gins are distilled by Simon Tardivel, a multi-award winning brewer and alcohol expert who fell in love with the Isle of Bute while living there. Simon distills the gins using botanicals that are sourced on the island and from nearby areas. In 2020, production has moved to a distillery in Rothesay - the biggest town on Bute - which also has an event space. There are currently five gins in the range; Gorse Gin, Heather Gin, Island Gin, Oaked and the incomparable Oyster Gin.
