Isle of Raasay Gin - Hebridean Gin is a Scottish London dry style gin that comes from the first legal distillery on the Inner Hebridean Island.

It combines 10 botanicals including Raasay juniper along with rhubarb root, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander seeds, angelica root, liquorice root, orris root and cubeb pepper. The botanicals are distilled with triple distilled Raasay spirit for a refreshing, zesty dry gin.

Each bottle is lovingly distilled and bottled on the Isle of Raasay.

Tasting Notes

A fresh and aromatic gin with piney juniper, bursts of orange and a hint of rhubarb. The finish and dry and zesty.

The perfect serve

We recommend serving over ice with a classic tonic and a slice of orange. We find that a 1:3 gin to tonic ratio works perfectly.

Meet the maker

R&B Distillers is a meeting of minds as well as terroirs. Alasdair Day has spent 25 years in the food industry but his family's whisky heritage kept calling him back and he has been recreating his great-grandfather's Borders whisky since 2009. Bill Dobbie brings business experience as well as a taste for fine whisky. The name R&B stands for Raasay and Borders; two unique and contrasting landscapes representing the two sides of Alasdair's family. In September 2017, R&B opened the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay, creating an entirely new provenance for Scotch whisky.
