Launched in 2009, Caorunn Gin has been handcrafted in small batches at Balmenach Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. The gins are distilled in the world's only copper berry chamber to extract maximum flavour. The name Caorunn (pronounced ka-roon) is from the Gaelic word for rowan berry. The rowan berry is one of the five unique Celtic botanicals used in the making the Caorunn range. All the celtic botanicals can be foraged within a 10 minute walk of the distillery. In addition to the classic Caorunn Gin, the range now also include a high strength version as well as a Raspberry Gin.
