Cairngorm Gin Company was launched in November 2019 by Jack Smith. The distillery, nestled in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, is one of the smallest operating distilleries in the country. The distillery houses a bespoke 50 litre copper pot still named Ginger - taking its name from Jack's late Grandfather who was partial to a G&T. The flagship product - Cairngorm Gin - was the first gin in the UK to feature cloudberries as a botanical. Having grown up in the national park, Jack has huge respect for the native flora and fauna that has always surrounded him. It was this respect, combined with a passion for Scottish gin, that inspired him to create a gin using the finest local botanicals.
