Founded in 2020 by Stephen Burt and Mike Bain, Ardent Spirits is an independent bottler and distiller of fine and rare whiskies and rums based in Aberdeenshire. The small batch spirits are distilled and bottled at Burn O' Bennie Distillery. Sea Shanty Rum was the first product in the series of limited edition batches and was released in March 2021. Proceeds of the rum will be donated to Aberdeen RNLI with the team at Ardent Spirits hoping to raise £10000.
