Tasting Notes

A sweet red expression, Valentian Rosso is a rich yet delicate vermouth with aromas of bergamot, red summer fruits and malt barley on the nose, lightly candied orchard fruits and gently herbaceous on the palate – a beautiful balance of bitter and sweet.

The perfect serve

Perfect over ice with some orange or to make many cocktails including a V&T with some Mediterranean Tonic and a slice of orange. Alternatively, make a classic Negroni with campari, your gin of choice and orange peel.

Meet the maker

Valentian Vermouth was created by the Tait brothers, David and Dominic. They took inspiration from their home in the Scottish Borders while walking through the Eildon Hills surrounded by the flora and fauna. The Scottish Borders were once the most northern part of the Roman Empire and the brothers set about combining the spirit that goes on to become Scotch Whisky with Italian wines. Having grown up in the world of distilling and brewing, they were able to use a network of friends from across the continent to help pull their plan together. The result is a true elixir for the bold!
