The Scalasaig - Island Hopper - Blended Malt Whisky first batch is hand crafted by carefully selecting 10 Single Malts of various flavour profiles. Some are light, some heavily peated, some rich and dark and some of a more fruity profile.

These mature casks were selected by experts and filled into European oak - the finest fresh‚ first-fill and Dry Oloroso sherry casks to rest and marry for a further 9 months.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich fruitcake, polished oak and some distant burning embers Taste: Sweet at first, then some sea saltiness enveloped by the big warming hug of peat smoke Finish: Classically maritime: salty, roasted meats lead to a satisfying big sweet-spice medium length finish.

Meet the maker

Colonsay is a tiny and remote island two and a quarter hours by ferry from the mainland – a place of massive contrasts and stunning beauty. Long sandy beaches with seal covered reefs offshore, soaring sea cliffs, abundant birdlife and a population of about 130 people. They say in these parts you get four seasons in a day as the great Atlantic weather systems sweep over the island. With nothing between here and Canada those weather systems bring fearsome and dramatic winter storms. In summer the island enjoys more sunshine that any other part of Britain.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
