McLean's Cherry Bakewell Gin is a light-hearted but seriously tasty Scottish craft gin that was inspired by the classic Bakewell Tart.

Rich in cherry, almond and vanilla, McLean's Cherry Bakewell is perfect as a refreshing gin & mix and also can be used to make exciting gin cocktails.

Produced entirely by hand in small batches in Strathaven, the Cherry Bakewell Gin is made using a process first used in the early 17th century.

Every bottle of McLean's Gin is bottled, labelled and sealed individually by hand.

Tasting Notes

Rich notes of black cherry followed by vanilla and finished off with bitter almond with a hint of nutmeg.

The perfect serve

Best served with ice and Mediterranean tonic, lemonade or cream soda depending on how sweet your palate is. Finish off with a maraschino cherry.

Meet the maker

McLean's Gin started life in 2017 in a 1.5m sq. living room cupboard aka the 'gin lab' in a one bedroom teneflat in the southside of Glasgow. Following the marriage of founders Colin & Jess McLean in June 2018, the gin is now being 'brought up' in Strathaven, a village around 25 miles south of Glasgow. McLean's Gins are made using a cold compounding process which has been used in the production of gin since the 17th century.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
