Whitetail Gin is a juniper-led premium Scottish gin that is distilled and bottled at 47% ABV on the Isle of Mull in the Inner Hebrides.

The gin balances locally foraged botanicals including heather, winter savoury, pine needles and sea kelp with classic botanicals including juniper, coriander and lemon peel for a smooth gin with subtle hints of spice to finish.

With botanicals sourced from the island the gin is a true celebration of the Isle of Mull.

The name and brand has also been inspired by the local area as it was named after the white-tailed sea eagle which is the largest bird of prey in Europe and can be found nesting in the trees around the estate where Whitetail is distilled.

Tasting Notes

The juniper led gin has hints of the sea on the nose with subtle aromas of heather. It's gentle on the palate with a kick of strength.

The perfect serve

We recommend serving Whitetail Gin over large chunks of ice with a classic tonic and a wedge of juicy pink grapefruit. A sprig of rosemary also works really well.

Meet the maker

Launched in 2017, Whitetail Spirits was inspired by the white tailed sea eagle which is the largest bird of prey in Europe and lives near the family estate on the Isle of Mull. The spirits were distilled in London until the summer of 2019 when production moved home to Mull. This made Whitetail Spirits the second legal distillery on the island and the first to open for 220 years. The botanicals used are sourced on the Tiroran Estate and the surrounding area.
