From the spiritual home of Scotch whisky, this is the first release in the Casks of Lindores series.

The Casks of Lindores - Bourbon Single Malt Whisky is distilled using water from a borehole near the distillery and has been matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for 3 years. 

Distilled from Kingdom of Fife barley, Lindores' whisky has gone through one of the longest wash fermentation periods in the Scotch Whisky industry. This, coupled with an unusual sister spirit stills set up help to produce a malt of remarkable character for its age. Naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes

The nose is sweet and fruity with red apples and pears combining with vanilla custard. On the palate, vanilla mixes with cooking apples, citric pith, oaky wood notes and a hint of pepper spice before a medium lingering finish.

Meet the maker

Based in Fife, distilling at Lindores Abbey has been revived after 523 years. Records show distilling was taking place at the site in 1494 but, in reality, it was probably happening long before that. The spirit started flowing again in 2017 when the distillery was revived by Drew Mckenzie Smith. Along with his wife Helen, Drew had spent over two decades planning and campaigning to bring a distillery back to the grounds of Lindores Abbey. The first spirit released was an aqua vitae with the first single malt whisky due for release in July 2021.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
