Lussa Gin is a Scottish coastal gin produced with 15 local botanicals grown, gathered and distilled by the three women behind Lussa Gin.

Lussa Gin is distilled, bottled and labeled by hand and each bottle is finished with a tweed collar. The tweed comes from Ardlussa Estate and is made on the neighbouring island at the Islay Woollen Mill.

Botanicals: juniper, roses, lemon balm, sea lettuce, watermint and Scots pine.

Tasting Notes

Lussa Gin has a complex flavour with fresh and zingy lemon thyme, balanced with the pine notes of juniper, a touch of warmth from coriander seed all bound together with the smoothness of roses.

Meet the maker

From the isle of Jura with a population of 200 people and over 6000 deer, Lussa Drinks Company was set up in 2015 by friends and neighbours Alicia Macinnes, Claire Fletcher and Georgina Kitching. The friends decided they wanted to share a new adventure together and, combining their skills, set up a distillery in Ardlussa. Encouraged by their shared love of Jura and supported by the local community, the distillery was opened and ‘Jim’ the traditional Portuguese, handcrafted copper still was fired up and Lussa Gin was born.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
