ABV: 43.3%  |  Location: Dores, Loch Ness

Loch Ness Highland Gin is a small batch Scottish gin that is made using the finest botanicals and purest water from the area around the distillery on the banks of Loch Ness.

The recipe is a closely guarded secret but all the botanicals used are locally foraged from within 500m of the distillery door. This includes the rare black gold juniper and the freshest water from a private water source.

Bottled at 43.3% ABV to represent the average depth of Loch Ness (433 feet), there are only around 2000 bottles each year which fits the 'real and rare' motto.

Tasting Notes

Clean and crisp, the Loch Ness Highland Gin has a combination of warming spices, fruity and herbaceous notes and also a sweet honey-like taste all backed up by oily, piney juniper.

The perfect serve

The purity and clean taste means that the gin is perfect for sipping neat. However, if serving as a G&T then we recommend over ice with a quality tonic and finished with a slice of kiwi fruit.

Meet the maker

Loch Ness Spirits was launched by husband and wife team, Kevin and Lorien Cameron-Ross. They have family connections to the area around Loch Ness which span back over 5 centuries. The knowledge, love and understanding of the natural landscape of the area is what has fuelled Kevin and Lorien's passion to source quality ingredients from the land as well as the purest water from the Loch. Each of the releases from Loch Ness Spirits is handmade in small batches.
