GlenAllachie - The Cuvee Wine Cask Finish 2012  crafted by Master Blender Billy Walker is first expertly matured in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon Barrels before being transferred into hand-picked European wine barriques for the second stage of aging.

The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish. A French term, Cuvée is used in the wine industry to indicate a wine of superior quality in which two or more grape varieties have been blended. Cuvée is a true illustration of Billy’s blending prowess gained across his 50 years of experience.

Tasting Notes

Packed with scents of orange blossom, maraschino cherries, lavender and cinnamon. On the tongue, waves of dark chocolate, red currants and burnt coffee beans. Finished with lightly toasted almonds, blackberries and orange zest. A definite adventure for the palate

Enjoy as you would normally enjoy a dram. Neat, on the rocks or with a dash a water.

Meet the maker

The GlenAllachie Distillery story began in 1967 and has changed hands with production stopping and starting many times since. However, in 2017 three industry experts with over 100 years experience came together to form The GlenAllachie Distillers Company and revive the distillery. Head Distiller Billy Walker spends endless hours monitoring the spirit within each cask and only when he determines that the spirit has met the perfect balance between wood and distillery influence, will he put his name to the bottle.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
