ABV: 43%  |  Location: Millport, Isle of Cumbrae

Croc Rock Gin is the latest release from the all-female team at Isle of Cumbrae Distillers and is the first gin produced entirely on the island.

Traditional botanicals are combined with cacao and ginger which symbolise the love islanders have for the Croc, while at the same time recognising the potential danger of the crocodile's bite.

The gin is named after Crocodile Rock which is one of the most recognised features of the island and has been delighting visitors of all ages for over 100 years.

The bottle features a design by a local artist and the neck is decorated with tartan.

Tasting Notes

Croc Rock is a provocative gin, integrating fresh orange and the sweetness of the stem ginger with the rich round flavours of chocolate.

The perfect serve

We highly recommend served neat over ice or in a classic G&T, with a splash of light tonic and garnished with a wedge of citrus or fresh ginger.

Meet the maker

Launched in the summer of 2020, Isle of Cumbrae Distillers is owned by 5 full and part-time 'Millportonians', who are one of the few all-female distilling teams in Scotland, and the only international women's team. The team were brought together by a love of the island (and gin) and were looking for inspiration to help raise funds to save Millport's historic town hall. Another goal is to create jobs on the island and want to provide opportunities for the young people on the island. Committed to sustainability, the team are all members of the island's beach clean team.
