Aelder - Ana Birch Syrup Caramel Liqueur is a luxuriously sweet, creamy and smooth liqueur that pairs perfectly with a range of dark spirits and coffee.

Birch sap is reduced to a syrup before blending with Scottish cream – this is then infused in spirit before being triple filtered to create the final liqueur.

Tasting Notes

The sweet, smooth liqueur is creamy and is reminiscent of honeycomb, brown sugar and hazelnut spread.

The perfect serve

Perfect as an alternative to dessert, serve ANA chilled over ice, or pour a dash in your coffee or hot chocolate. Our top recommendations are to add to an Espresso Martini for a delicious caramel coffee cocktail or simply drizzle over ice cream.

Meet the maker

Created by Rupert Waites, head chef and chief forager at the Buck and Birch, Aelder was one of numerous wild flavour experiments developed in “The Shed”. Aelder made its debut in 2012 at one of Rupert's famous supper clubs in Edinburgh and pretty soon guests were requesting bottles to take home.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
