Launched in December 2016, SeaWolf was the first Scottish white rum to hit the market.

Full of tropical-fruit notes with hints of citrus and spice, SeaWolf is made with champagne and rum yeasts and is distilled from from high grade molasses that have been fermented for 4 weeks.

Taking its name from the Native American term for killer whales, SeaWolf celebrates the British naval links with rum importation as well as the pods of killer whales that can be seen dotted around the Scottish coastline.

Tasting Notes

Intensely fruity on the nose with pears, apples and blackberries giving way to notes of dried bananas. On the palate, the fruit and banana are there before a clay-like earthiness in the finish.

The perfect serve

Different to any other white rum, Sea Wolf can be enjoyed in a number of ways. Great served over ice with lime and either tonic or ginger ale. Great in many cocktails, it makes a mean daiquiri.

Meet the maker

SeaWolf White Rum was created by friends Mike Aikman and Jason Scott (the duo behind multi-award winning bars in Edinburgh including Bramble) and Gavin Ferguson, the co-founder of a Scottish independent wine merchants. The process and recipe for SeaWolf took over 2 years to perfect and it is currently distilled in Scotland by Ogilvy Spirits in Angus.
