Tasting Notes

Initial light top notes of peach and pear, give way to hints of ginger, clove and cinnamon spice. Rich, caramel sweetness and some lovely light herbal notes on the finish. Complex and rewarding.

The perfect serve

We enjoy serving long over plenty ice, topped with ginger ale and finished with a twist of orange peel. However, we recommend bringing out your inner mixologist and experimenting as it's extremely versatile!

Meet the maker

Based in Fife, distilling at Lindores Abbey has been revived after 523 years. Records show distilling was taking place at the site in 1494 but, in reality, it was probably happening long before that. The spirit started flowing again in 2017 when the distillery was revived by Drew Mckenzie Smith. Along with his wife Helen, Drew had spent over two decades planning and campaigning to bring a distillery back to the grounds of Lindores Abbey. The first spirit released was an aqua vitae with the first single malt whisky due for release in July 2021.
