Tasting Notes

A classic London Dry profile, Sky Garden is well balanced with piney juniper, a hint of citrus and crisp, fresh notes. There's a light floral note with a touch of warming spice and menthol coming through.

The perfect serve

We highly recommend serving Sky Garden Gin over plenty of ice with a quality tonic water and a slice of lime. To bring out the herbal and menthol notes we suggest swapping the tonic for a Mediterranean tonic.

Meet the maker

Based in the town of Kirkcudbright in the south west of Scotland, Dark Art Distillery was officially launched by Andrew Clark Hutchison in July 2021. The name was inspired by its heritage from both the region, Galloway, and the town, Kirkcudbright. The Dark from the nearby Galloway Forest Park, the 1st dark sky park in western Europe and the Art as Kirkcudbright is known as The Artists Town. Fiona Williamson, a graduate of the Institute of Brewing & Distilling at Heriot Watt University, leads the distilling team. The distillery itself is based in a refurbished primary school and has its own visitor centre & shop from where the team host gin tours and tastings.
