Downpour - Scottish Dry Gin is inspired by the beautiful island surroundings of the Outer Hebrides. Distilled using a blend of citrus fruits and locally-foraged ingredients, the spirit bursts into life with a splash of tonic.

Downpour - Scottish Dry Gin is presented in a stunning bespoke bottle. It's plastic free, uses 38% less glass than the original bottle and can be recycled with clear household glass.

Botanicals: juniper, lemon, orange, grapefruit peel, heather. 

Tasting Notes

Bursting with botanicals to deliver a big hit with every drop, there are notes of citrus, spice and a punch of wild Hebridean heather.

The perfect serve

We highly recommend enjoying as a classic G&T over ice with a premium tonic and a wedge of your favourite citrus fruit. For something really special, add a sprig of rosemary or some heather.

Meet the maker

North Uist Distillery Co. was launched in 2019 by Kate & Jonny, two North Uist natives who left to experience life on the mainland but found themselves being drawn back home. Both have long family connections to the islands and both their parents are integral to the community. Jonny had a dream to use his background in distilling and brewing to add a new chapter to his family's story on the island. When the distillery is complete, it will be the first legal distillery on the island.

Delivery Service

We use a combination of delivery services and the provider and service used will depend on your location, the size and weight of the products ordered, the value of the goods and the delivery service you select at checkout.

All deliveries in the UK will be dispatched using either Royal Mail or by a courier. Deliveries out with the UK will always be delivered using a courier.

We always recommend that you provide us with a delivery address where it is likely that someone will be available to receive and sign for the parcel. Where applicable, you will receive communication with a tracking number for your parcel

Delivery Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and all orders received before 1pm are dispatched the same day. Order received after 1pm are dispatched the next working day.

The delivery time depends on your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. However, all deliveries in the UK will generally be made within 3 days of dispatch. Deliveries to European countries will be made within 5-7 working days of dispatch.
